A Fun Filled Easter

Last weekend we spent Easter with the Bayes side of the family and had a ton of fun. It is the first of many visits when the cousins can enjoy each other. Henry loves being cuddled by Ellie and is already in awe of Tyler, watching his every move.

Henry is 6 months old

Henry got to celebrate his six month birthday with his counsins Ellie and Tyler as a part of Easter weekend. Since we were at their house, Ellie helped to make the traditional sign stating how old Henry is.

We went to the doctor on Tuesday and he got a clean bill of health, weighing 17 lbs 3oz and is now 27 1/8 inches long; both in the 75% percentile. And the great news is that the reflux is much improved after seeing the specialist last month, so less laundry and more weight gain.

Tomorrow we head to St.Louis to celebrate Easter with the Bayes family. I couldn't resist a picture of Henry with his bunny ears.

Good Nap

Yesterday, Henry took a monster nap at 2 hours. I had to wake him up to eat and he was in quite a daze for awhile. Nothing cuter than a sleeping baby!

Grandma and Grandpa Franke's visit version 2

Last week we were lucky enough to have Mark's parents visit while his mom was on Spring Break. And Henry lived up to all of the hype! They delighted in taking him to the zoo for his first visit and spent a lot of good time 'talking', singing and playing. We can't wait to see them this summer!

Go Stros'

Today is opening day for the Astros and as much as the Bayes family hates it, we've become fans of the local team. Hopefully Henry will get to his first major league game soon.

Neighborhood Spring Fling

Every April, our neighborhood hosts a Spring Fling near the Rec Center which is no more than a band, some food booth and a petting zoo, but it is a good excuse for a long walk and fresh air. The whole family (Dasher too) went there this past Saturday and stayed all of 30 mins before we had to head back for Henry's nap. He enjoyed looking (not touching) the various petting zoo animals and Dad caught a good pic of the Baby Bjorn in use.
