Bye, Bye Pool...see you next year!

Last Sunday, we said goodbye to our neighborhood pool until it opens next May. We enjoyed taking Henry this year where he grew from a mere tadpole to a full blown waterbug. We can't wait to see what swimming tricks Henry has up his sleeve next year.

Naked Trucker

This scene was too funny....right before bed last week, Henry was playing with his truck in only a diaper (long story). Since its a cloth diaper, he could easily access the velcro tabs and took it off while walking behind his dumptruck, unencumbering him to be a true trucker. It left Mark and I in tears while running for the camera.

Henry's dessert entertainment

This was Henry's view during dessert on Friday night. He was craning his neck so hard to see from inside that I thought front row seats would be better. Doesn't get better than this!

Henry is 11 months old

I was out of town for work this week when Henry's 11 month milestone occurred, so thankfully Mark documented the occasion very well. This picture captures Henry perfectly....enjoying his new found (but Mom's old) rocking chair and posing like such a big boy. In this photo, I can just tell what he will look like when he is 5 or 6.

Trip to the Big D

Over Labor Day weekend, we journeyed to Dallas to visit Mark's Aunt Myra, Uncle Kevin and cousins Grace and Eli. We had a great relaxing weekend and Henry got more practice at his water skills. The kid is a natural in the pool and we need to get him enrolled in some water classes after the pool season is over.

Mom and Henry

I realized recently that I don't have as many pictures with Henry because I am usually the one behind the camera. I have been more intentional on getting in the photo, so that Henry has some evidence of me and him in his infancy.
